Hi-5 Features

Hi-5-Module 1: Continuous data protection

Continuous data protection (CDP) We start by securing all critical data and system images to the local Hi-5 appliance. Email systems, databases and system images are encrypted and stored for convenient local access.

	Supports 32 and 64 bit OS;	Database recovery;

Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) System images are updated at 15 minute intervals and are maintained both on the local appliance and in the offsite vault.

	Restore to dissimilar servers;	Domain controller restore;
	Multiple partition restore;	Full email system restore.

Standby server replacement of failed server When a production server fails, the up-to-date image is virtualized to a standby server within the Hi-5 appliance. Your technical team can then diagnose and fix the production server problem without productivity being compromised.

Features:

	Standby server brought online in 2 hours;	Will run while BMR takes place to new servers;
	Event alert to designated contact;	Performance close to production quality.
	Other backup, synchronization and reporting events will continue uninterrupted.

Offsite replication and disaster recovery support Hi-5 speeds up disaster recovery. After local backup everything on the Hi-5 appliance is synchronized offsite to our financial grade vaults. If access to the primary business location is lost, contact your Hi-5 vendor and virtual standby servers can run from the data centre or a new appliance with standby servers can be delivered to your temporary premises. Once new production servers have arrived, system images and data are transferred onto the new machines. Disruption to productivity is absolutely minimized.

	System images can be restored to any point in time up to 15 minutes prior to disaster;
	DataFort engineers will work alongside your staff;
	Full disaster recovery management or engineering available;
	Later migration to permanent offices available.

Data archive and retrieval This module makes it possible to recover any server to an earlier date, back to the day of the Hi-5 installation.

Features:

	Recover servers to an earlier date to resolve compliance issues;
	Recover old email systems to retrieve long deleted mailboxes;
	Recover servers to to prove contracts, blueprints or plans existed on an earlier date.
